England and Wales contain a wealth of built heritage and these can be located within the beautiful setting of town or country and often further protected by conservation areas. Listed buildings fall within the category of Heritage Assets. Dependent on the scale of your proposals development and alteration to Heritage Assets are controlled by both local authority and English Heritage. We liaise with these parties and advise on the most appropriate form of development. This can often be a detailed and confusing process that requires careful management and expert advice.

We will review heritage documents such as the statutory listing of the building and council documents such as conservation area character appraisals. Andmore Planning will provide assistance to the architect and provide Heritage Statements to support your Listed Building or Conservation Area Consent applications. We will submit your application and continue liaison with the authorities and provide additional advice such as whether the application will be discussed at any conservation advisory committees or other interested groups.
