The process of development, whether small or large scale, residential or commercial, is subject to many variables. Andmore Planning can assist with part or all of the planning process to take the development from concept to reality.
  • Site appraisals and feasibility studies – using our many sources of information and planning knowledge, simply providing a few details allows us to research the feasibility of development and give you the confidence whether or not to proceed with your plans. More detailed appraisals and reports can be given following a site visit and inspection of the area.
  • When taking the site forward, we can assist in devising appropriate and site specific design solutions to overcome any problems. Working with you and your architect, we can assist in creating schemes which accord with the various planning policies and adhere to the latest Government guidance.
  • We can then submit your planning application efficiently and accurately to the relevant Local Planning Authority. Applications are usually accompanied by a Planning Statement and Design & Access statement, which we can produce for you, and these will include a justification for the development based on local and national planning policy.
  • We will negotiate with Local Authority officers throughout the process; liaise with local ward members and, where necessary, present to the Local Authority Planning Committee.
  • You can come to us if you have had an application refused, as we have the skills to analyse the reasons for refusal and advise where a case may be made to support it at appeal. Fortunately, planning appeals provide an opportunity to challenge the reasonableness of a Council’s decision, and we can assist in recommending the most appropriate method of appealing a refused planning application and lodge the Appeal on your behalf. 
  • During the appeal process, we can also continue working with you and negotiating with the Local Authority in order to reach a suitable solution. This may involve re-submitting following any necessary amendments to the scheme.
